Returns and Refunds Policy
We want you to be satisfied with every purchase you make on our online store, so our Returns and Refunds Policy and process should give you great peace of mind.
This Policy forms part of the Mzimkhulu Building Services’ (MBS) Terms and Conditions. MBS is committed to operating in line with the Consumer Protection Act of Zimbabwe and all policies are subject to the applicable law and regulations. Returnable Goods
Our returns process depends on the kind of product you purchased, whether it was a regular online order or a special-order.
All returns for regular orders will only be accepted for the following:
- The goods are damaged or faulty at the time of delivery;
- The goods delivered are not as per order specification;
- There are changes to and/or cancellation of an order;
- There is a pricing anomaly or irregularity.
All returns for special-orders will only be accepted for the following:
- The goods are damaged or faulty at the time of delivery;
- The goods delivered are not as per order specification.
The customer will not be refunded for special-orders that do not meet the returns criteria above.
All returns meeting the above criteria must be returned within seven (7) days after the delivery date.
Non-Returnable Goods
- No returns shall be accepted if the goods have been partially or entirely disassembled, physically altered, permanently installed, affixed, attached, joined or added to, blended or combined with, or embedded within other goods or property.
- No returns shall be accepted if they are prohibited by any law or prohibited by a public health policy.
Refunds
Once the retuned product has been assessed and confirmed for a refund, the following shall apply:
- The customer shall receive a full refund or exchange of the product when the goods are returned in their original condition and/or packaging within seven (7) days after the date of delivery.
- If the returned goods ARE NOT in their original condition and/or packaging a handling fee of 20% shall be charged provided the goods are returned within seven (7) days after the date of delivery
- All special-orders cannot be refunded unless they meet the relevant returns criteria.
- All refunds shall be processed within 7 to 14 days from the return date.
ALL REFUNDS SHALL BE PROCESSED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:
- Credit note
- Electronic transfer directly into your account (7 to 14 working days)
- Cash (if the original payment was made in cash)
- Credit card (by reversal back to your credit card and subject to banking delays)
To complete all your purchases, you need to be registered (create an account) by following the steps outlined on our website when you click on SIGN UP. Once you have created an account, please ensure you retain you LOGIN details for future purchases. Always LOGOUT of your account after you have completed your purchases.
This is a delivery only service. When you have completed your purchase we deliver for free within a 25 km radius or within the city of Bulawayo. All deliveries to other areas of Zimbabwe will incur additional costs.
All regular orders completed and paid for BEFORE 1400hrs from Monday to Friday, will be delivered the same day. All orders completed and paid for AFTER 1400hrs will be delivered the following day. All orders completed and paid for on Saturdays or Sundays / Public holidays will be delivered from Monday onwards or the next working day after a public holiday.
All customers are encouraged to provide correct delivery addresses and directions (when requested) to avoid unnecessary delays. The recipients of the goods should be available at the notified time to receive the delivery. If the goods are returned due to unavailability of a recipient at the respective address, the customer may incur additional costs to effect another delivery. We will aim to notify the recipients the approximate times when their delivery will be effected. All deliveries should be checked and signed for.
